Who We Are

About International Bridges (I.B.O.):

The International Bridges Organization (I.B.O.) is working for the creation of sophisticated, resilient, and peaceful communities. We are a non-governmental organization with a goal and mission to provide relief and assistance to communities affected by humanitarian crises or conflict. Our members are the youth, minorities, and women and girls who work in their communities to alleviate difficult day to day issues. We are fostering a better future for the people who need it most.

I.B.O. is a convener, collaborator, advocate, and leader in the global movement for Education in Adolescence, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Sustainable Peace. We work closely with the United Nations, various Governments, and local women and youth-led organizations from all over the world.

In Iraq, International Bridges works exclusively with our local long-term partner “Al-Basheer Development Foundation” a non-profit Iraqi organization registered with the office of the Council of Prime Ministers.

Our leadership and staff are experts in human rights, economic growth, and peace and security. We have diverse and extensive experience working in conflict- and crisis-affected countries.

Our Mission:

Our Mission is to build sustainable and inclusive peace, by helping developing countries incorporate a sound political structure, policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, and institutional capabilities. In addition, we actively contribute in providing humanitarian assistance and support to under-privileged communities.

Our Vision:

Our Vision is a versed, equal, and peaceful world in which human rights and the empowerment of youth are promoted and protected.
